WSOP Now Sponsored by Jack Link’s Beef Jerky
The WSOP now has a new presenting sponsor. The WSOP announced Tuesday that Jack Link’s Beef Snacks has signed a two year sponsorship deal to be the featured sponsor of the WSOP. The WSOP will now be known as the World Series of Poker sponsored by Jack Link’s Beef Jerky.
Jeff LeFever, marketing director for Jack Link’s Beef Jerky said this in the press release, “The game of poker is all about sharing good times with great friends. Jack Link’s enthusiasts and poker fans are cut from the same cloth – they are fun-seeking, adventurous spirits. The World Series of Poker Presented by Jack Link’s Beef Jerky is the most esteemed gaming event in the world, and poker’s untamed spirit truly embodies the Jack Link’s brand. Being part of this thrilling tournament is just one more way Jack Link’s is helping people to Feed Their Wild Side.”
Ty Stewart, WSOP VP stated, “This is a great fit between two category-leading brands. We’ve found a savvy and fun sports marketer who fits our culture and we welcome Jack Link’s to the WSOP family.”
The deal includes not only title sponsorship, but also a prominent prescience at the WSOP. Their name will be featured on signs throughout the building, on all WSOP tables, and the “No-Limit Lounge” will be renamed the “Wild Card Café.”
A national promotion is also in the works, but no details have been disclosed. Don’t be surprised to see sasquatch roaming around the halls of the Rio during the WSOP and especially the Main Event.
