WSOP Main Event Final Table Kicks Off Tomorrow
The final table of the Main Event of the World Series of Poker kicks off in just under 20 hours at the Penn & Teller theater in the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
The “November Nine” will return, led by Maryland logger Darvin Moon, who leads with 58.93 Million in chips. Seven time bracelet winner Phil Ivey is the 3rd shortest stack with 9.765 Million. Jeff Shulman is trying to join his father as the first father and son to win a Main Event title and the first to do so in the same year. Barry Shulman recently won the WSOP Europe and Jeff enters play 4th with 19.58 Million. Jeff also is the only person with Main Event final table experience, appearing at the final table in 2000.
The final nine will play down heads-up and those two will return at 9 P.M. PST on Monday to play for the bracelet. ESPN will then broadcast the Main Event final table in its entirety on Tuesday at 9 P.M. EST.
