Dennis Phillips will be heading into the final table on November 9th with the chip lead of over $26 Million. He announced last week that a logo on his PokerStars Jersey will go up on auction and all money collected from the auction will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Ebay auction #290268147259 started this past Thursday and will continue until October 26th. The auction is for a patch that will be placed on the right arm of Phillips and will be displayed frequently during his final table run on ESPN’s World Series of Poker telecasts.

Proceeds from this auction will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Gateway Area Chapter in St. Louis, MO. Phyllis Robsham, president of the chapter stated, “We are thrilled to be a part of such an exciting promotion that will ultimately help us continue to move towards a world free of MS. The awareness and funds raised through Dennis’ effort will help us to continue our work for the over 6,000 people living with MS in our area.”

At present, the high bid is $13,000 with 20 bids placed so far. There are qualifications for the winning bidder. The site clearly states, “The proposed use of the Signage Space is subject to the approval of the World Series of Poker, ESPN, Dennis Phillips and their sponsors. If the highest bidder’s proposed use is not approved, the sole remedy available to such bidder shall be the return of the bid amount and the next highest bidder with an approved use shall be the successful bidder.” This type of disclaimer is setup so some site could purchase the space for inappropriate or distasteful material.

If you have about 20k burning a hole in your pocket, go over to EBay and put in a bid. It is for a good cause. Otherwise, tune in to ESPN to see who the lucky winner is.
