2010 WSOP Kicks off May 28th
As you may have noticed over the last few months, there really hasn’t been much in the way of live event news for the WSOP. Well, the 2010 WSOP is just around the corner and that is about to change. This summer, theWSOPblog.com will be bringing you daily updates from the 2010 WSOP and keep you updated on all of the daily happening.

Action kicks off May 28th
The 2010 WSOP will kick off May 28th with the Employee’s Event and the $50,000 Players Championship. Events will then be held nearly every day until the Main Event kicks off on July 5th. The Main Event will continue until the final table is reached on July 17th. Play will then be halted until November. A date has yet to be determined for the final table.
The WSOP is held at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and draws players from around the world to take part in the largest poker event on the planet. This year will feature 57 events that will include several $1,000 NL Holdem Events and a new $25,000 6-max NL Holdem event. Joe Cada took down the Main Event last year for $8 Million and to become the youngest champion in WSOP history.
