TJ Cloutier’s 2005 WSOP Bracelet Sells for $4,006

Last week, we reported that TJ Cloutier’s 2005 WSOP $5,000 NL bracelet was on sale on Ebay. Speculation swirled the internet initially as to whether the bracelet was indeed Cloutier’s. Rules for 2010 WSOP Released

WSOP Europe Broadcast Schedule Released

The broadcast schedule for the WSOP Europe has been released. Episodes will begin airing on January 31st with the Caesars Cup and will continue through February. Former Bracelet Winner Amir Vahedi Passes Away

Professional player and former WSOP bracelet winner Amir Vahedi passed away January 8th at the age of 48. Details about his death are still unclear, but the primary cause is suspected to be complications from diabetes. 2010 WSOP Schedule Released

The schedule that everyone has been waiting for has waiting for has finally arrived. Earlier today, the schedule for the 2010 WSOP has been released, complete with new additions and some old favorites.

Bob Thompson – Former WSOP Director – Dead at 80.

Bob Thompson, former director of the World Series of Poker, passed away on Sunday. He was 80. Thompson was in charge of the WSOP from 1999 through 2002, the year before Chris Moneymaker started the poker boom.

Former WSOP Home Binions to Close Hotel

On Monday, TLC Casino Enterprises Inc, owner of Binions Gambing Hall and Casino, announced that Binions will be closing the hotel portion of their property. In addition the casino will be shutting down Keno operations and shutting down their Coffee Shop restaurant.
