Jeff Lisandro was born in Perth, Australia and is a professional poker player.  He now lives in Italy but is a regular on the poker circuit.  He is actually thought by many to be among the top seven players in the world of Seven Card Stud.  Lisandro first began playing poker when he was five and was taught how to play the game by his mother.

Lisandro first began playing at the World Series of Poker tournaments in 1997 and has been at an impressive eleven final tables since.  However he did not win the first of his four WSOP bracelets until 2007 when he won the $2000 Seven Card Stud event.  In 2009 he showed why he is considered by many to be the master of Seven Card Stud when he was the first person ever to win a WSOP bracelet in all three disciplines of Seven Card Stud at the same World Series.  He won bracelets that year for the $1500 Seven Card Stud, the $10,000 World Championship Seven Card Stud H/L-8 and the $2500 Razz.

Lisandro has chalked up tournament winnings of over $4 million and his 31 WSOP cashes have helped him to take home WSOP winnings of over two and a half million dollars.  His four World Series of Poker bracelets see him currently lying just inside the top twenty of all time WSOP bracelet winners at number 19.

Lisandro’s style of play at the poker table is cool and calculating and because of this he has been given the nickname ‘The Iceman’.  His is still a regular player on the World Poker tournament circuit and although he calls Italy his home he also has a home in Santa Barbara, California.
