Thomas Chung is a professional poker player from Federal Way, California, who’s won two precious World Series of Poker bracelets in two different disciplines. Being a two time bracelet winner places him among a select elite within the game. He’s achieved numerous cash wins in various tournaments, and his winnings to date exceed $1.7Million, which is more than respectable by anyone’s standards.

Chung’s first bracelet win came as a result of his winning in the $2K Limit Hold’Em event back in 1989. As well as the classy poker prize he also banked $212K for this victory. In 1991 he achieved an even greater level of success when he defeated all opponents to emerge victorious in the $5K Seven Card Stud event, to the tune of an impressive $142K.

In 1993 Thomas Chung also made the final table of the World Series of Poker’s Main Event, which was eventually won by Jim Bechtel. In this tournament, Chung eventually finished in 5th place and in profit by $72K. Since this profitable near win, there have been many other victories in various professional tournaments. Chung’s live competition winnings exceed $1.7Million and no less than 13 cashes in the World Series of Poker account for $590,697 of that amount. He’s an excellent player with a track record to prove it.
