Josh Arieh is player with a reputation for getting under the skin of his opponents. He’s been known to frustrate players to the point where they’ll recklessly lose all their chips around an important table. He’s merciless when it comes to poker, and not averse to uncouth behavior at times. He plays aggressively, in keeping with the fact that he’s really there to win money and not to get into anyone’s good books.

Josh Ariel claims he never really intended to become a professional poker player. Rather, it was a natural progression when he realized that he could make more money playing cards than doing a regular job. He started playing around 10 years ago and soon realized his talent for the game. He’s gone from strength to strength within the game, and shows no signs of retiring yet. Since the aim of poker is more about making money than friends, his career to date can be judged a glittering success.

Mark’s greatest achievements in the world of poker have to be his two WSOP bracelet wins. He won his first back in 1999 when he succeeded in winning the $3K Limit Hold’Em event for $202,800. He won a bracelet again in 2005 when he emerged victorious in the $2K Pot Limit Omaha event, to take home the very respectable sum of $381,600. With his confidence and his aggressive style, it could only be a matter of time before Arieh takes home a third.

Josh Arieh enjoys games outside poker, and is often to be found on the golf course. He’s married to Angela and is the proud father of two daughters. His skills around the table are significant, as proved by the two bracelets he’s won. His winnings to date exceed $5Million, which means that he’s more than able to provide for his family without a straight job.
