Importance of Table Image

This starts off on being mindful on our own actions. This is how we look at our cards. How we play with our chips. Our mannerisms throughout the game are what give us away. This video has been designed to teach us how to hide our tells and make it difficult for people to get any information from us.

First we need to create an image. Many people use sunglasses to hide their eyes. The reason is that people says eyes are the key to the soul. Many people don’t like them because it does put up a barrier between you and the table. You can also take them off if you want to start people down. Also sunglasses make you look sharp and save your eyes.

Other people use music and good clothes. What we are trying to do is make an image off. You need to find a comfortable role for you.  This can be wearing a suit or dressing comfortable. Just make sure you stay in character.

You also need to be aware of the technique you use when you place a big hand. Good players often take time making their opponents thing about what you are doing. You do need to have routine. The moderator makes sure to be consistent when bluffing and when you have nuts. He likes to stare at one spot and concentrate on his breathing before he plays.

If you are calling a player you can be more relaxed. You still need to be consistent though. Players will be remembering what you have done each hand.

Remember at the tables people will be talking trash. So you need to maintain your cool during this time. If you are going to talk you should make sure that you are in character. You also need to leave what happens on the table there.
