2011 WSOP November Nine to Be Broadcast Live on ESPN Networks

WSOP announced on Sunday a sweeping change in the November Nine concept that will change the face of WSOP Main Event final table coverage.  The WSOP November Nine will now be broadcast in it’s entirety as it happens over the ESPN network of stations.

Hellmuth Forced to Revamp Caesars Cup Roster After Brunson and Seed No-Show WSOP Europe

WSOP Announces 2011 Poker Hall of Fame Finalists

WSOP November Niner Matt Giannetti Wins WPT Malta Title

November Nine Matt Giannetti decided that November was too long to wait to win a major poker title. Instead, he took down the World Poker Tour event in Malta and took home $273,200 in prize money.

November Nine Prizepool Not Expected to Gain Much Interest Due to Market Conditions

Since 2008, the final table of the WSOP Main Event has been played in November at the Rio.  Known as the November Nine, the event was supposed to reignite interest in the poker community for the WSOP Main Event final table.
Hard to believe all that money from last year only drew $459 in interest.
