The ratings are in for the World Series of Poker on ESPN and all indicators scream success. ESPN and Harrah’s Entertainment decided to delay the final table of the World Series of Poker Main Event in order to renew interest in poker overall and to try and increase overall ratings of the ESPN’s World »

Dennis Phillips To Auction Off Spot on Jersey for Charity

Dennis Phillips will be heading into the final table on November 9th with the chip lead of over $26 Million. He announced last week that a logo on his PokerStars Jersey will go up on auction and all money collected from the auction will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Some Thoughts Regarding the November Nine Concept

For the first time in the history of the World Series of Poker, Harrahs decided to delay the final table of the WSOP. They did this in a move that was supposed to bring more exposure to the World Series of Poker and bring bigger marketing opportunities to the participants.
