Earlier Wednesday, ESPN and the WSOP held their pre-November Nine conference call. WSOP on ESPN hosts Lon McEachern and Norman Chad were on hand to preview the final table as well as Poker PROductions producer Dan Gati and Doug White, the ESPN Senior Director of Programming and Acquisitions.

With the November Nine just a month away, the WSOP announced on Tuesday the ten finalists for induction into the Poker Hall of Fame. The finalists are as follows:

This past summer, for the first time since I started playing on the live tournament circuit, I skipped the WSOP. I won’t go into why I didn’t attend, but I will say it was not due to bankroll considerations. However, there are several things that I miss about being out in Vegas during the summer.
