WSOP Main Event Final Table Heads-Up Update #2 – Joe Cada Wins WSOP Main Event
Coming back from the first break, the final two players at the WSOP Main Event were relatively even in chips. This is how the two players stood:

Darvin Moon 91,600,000
Darvin Moon took back the chip lead and took a nice lead after the first hand from break. Cada raised from 3 Million and Moon made the call. The flop fell As-8d-4d and Moon bet out 6 Million and Cada made the call. The turn fell the 7s and Moon bet out 8.5 Million. Cada made the call and the river fell the Jh. Action was checked around and Moon showed what appeared to be K-8 for a pair of eights and Cada mucked. Moon picked up a couple of pots after this hand to move up to 124 Million

Moon takes nearly a 3 to 1 chip lead after an action hand between the two. Cada raised to 3 Million pre-flop and Moon called. The flop fell 3h-5d-Ac and Moon bet out 5 Million in chips. Cada then raised to 13 Million straight. Moon then three-bet to 25 Million and Cada insta-mucked his hand to the cheers of the crowd.

The commentators kept talking about how that Cada is just playing way too loose and that even his backer has said to slow down. Cada has not been listening and as a result, he has been steadily slipping.
Joe Cada took back the chip lead due to a great call. The flop fell 10c-5d-9h and action was checked around. The turn fell the 10d and Cada led out 3 Million. Moon then instantly moved all-in. Cada then went into the tank for a long time contemplating the call. Finally, Cada made the call with Jh-9d and Moon showed 8s-7s. Cada was in great shape to double up. The river fell the 3h and Cada has jumped back into the chip lead.

Cada extended his lead after rivering two pair. Both players saw a flop of 10d-Ks-7h and Moon bet 5 Million. The turn fell the 8h and action was checked to Moon, who bet 10 Million. Cada called and the river fell the 9d. Action was checked around and Cada showed 10c-9c for two pair and Moon mucked his hand.

It took 88 hands, but we finally go our new champion. Cada raised from the button to 3 Million and Moon re-raised to 8 Million. Cada then moved all-in and Moon called! It was Qd-Jd for Darvin Moon against the pocket nines for Joe Cada. The flop fell 8c-2c-7s. The turn caused the crowd to go “oooh” as it was paint, but it was the Kh. The river card fell the 7c and Joe Cada is the new World Champion of Poker. Darvin Moon finished in 2nd place and won $5,182,928.
At 21, Joseph Cada is the youngest World Champion in the history of the World Series of Poker. He wins the bracelet and $8,547,042. This heads-up match provided a lot of fireworks, but in the end, the player that most players expected to win walked away with the bracelet.
